The Protein Myth

I often here that vegetarian diets do not provide enough protein and this one really gets me. The fact is protein is in plants, look at thoroughbred horses, they don't eat meat! I know we are not horses however, we need to learn where we get our information from. Have we all heard that and perhaps that was instilled in us from you guessed it, the meat industry! In fact in a typical omnivore diet half the protein is from plants. Vegetarians can get their protein from beans, lentils, oats, nuts, soy, dairy and some vegetables, like spinach, asparagus, broccoli, and potatoes, also contain protein. There are so many healthy options on the market that this "lack of protein" argument is just plain silly.


Creating a Better Earth


The choices we make in our daily lives have a ripple effect that extends far beyond ourselves. By living consciously, we can contribute to a healthier planet for future generations. Whether it's through reducing waste, supporting sustainable practices, or advocating for environmental protection of our rainforests, each of us has the power to make a difference.
